*Volunteers must be 21 years of age and older.

As you can imagine, it takes quite a bit of preparation and people to pull of a multi-day, multi venue Festival like ours! We are looking for some great volunteers* to help us pour wine, check in attendees and more. We have opportunities available Wednesday through Sunday, May 12-16, so grab some friends, family members and coworkers and sign up! The 15% discount off of tickets purchased applies only to the events of the Festival Week, May 12-16, 2010 with the exception of Winemaker Dinners as those reservations are taken directly through the restaurants and they set their individual prices. The discount does not apply to Cocina de las Americas – the Paella Cook-off.

To use the 15% discount code, select the event you would like to purchase tickets for as well as the quantity of tickets and “add to the order.” This will take you to the next screen that has the “Promotional Code” box towards the bottom of the screen and is where you will enter the promotional code that you received. New World Wine & Food Festival Moves to May

San Antonio’s Premier Wine and Food Experience moves from November to May in 2010

San Antonio, TX – 2010 — The New World Wine and Food Festival — San Antonio’s premier wine and food experience – announced today that starting in 2010, the Festival will take place in May instead of November. The festival dates for 2010 are May 9-15, with additional events scheduled to take place throughout the year.

“We are moving the New World Wine and Food Festival dates to coincide and partner with The Valero Texas Open in May 2010 and couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Suzanne Taranto, President/CEO of the NWWFF. “Our new date and subsequent partnerships will allow us to offer multi-faceted outreach to sponsors, visitors, chefs, wineries and more with incredible potential for growth and expansion.”

Seven hotspots in San Antonio discovered during a recent food festival.
