
Chef Moses Cruz has a passion for cooking and shares his talents with guests at ORO in the Emily Morgan Hotel. Chef Moses started as a dishwasher when he was just 14 years old and went on to a distinguished career as executive chef at Hyatt Hotels, working all over the country and in the Caribbean. He has served as executive chef at the Houstonian Golf and Country Club, Shadow Hawk Golf Club and Crowne Plaza Medical Center, all owned by Houston-based Redstone Companies, and was executive chef for the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Houston and the Oak Brook Hills Conference Resort in Oak Brook, Illinois. Throughout his career he has received many honors including a Culinary Director’s Award in 2002 from the American Culinary Institute.
