Chris Brooks – Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Concord Plaza

Chris moved to San Antonio from Mexico City and attended the Culinary Arts Center at St. Phillips College before working his way onto the culinary scene. Chris paid his dues working at restaurants such as Biga on the Banks and L’ Etoile until he eventually partnered with his brother to open Encino, a local favorite specializing in eclectic cuisine. After several years, Chris was offered and accepted his current position of Executive Chef at Ruth’s Chris Steak House Concord Plaza. Chris repeatedly shares his passion for the culinary arts with audiences by appearing on local television shows such as the SA Living Show and Fox News’ morning show, as well as appearances on several local radio shows.
